This
song was originally written for the band Drifter, my now defunct rock
band. We did perform it about six or seven times, but when we
decided that we didn't want to make a third record and really stopped
playing altogether, Fall to Pieces
disappeared for a while. When I got into the home recording
thing, I had forgotten about the song, but suddenly one day remembered
it. I tried my best to give it it's full rock potential, though
Chris Laurents, the drummer from Drifter,
definitely rocks a little harder on the drums than I do.
Nevertheless, Fall to Pieces
still comes off as a pretty rockin' song, and I suggest that you turn
it up somewhat loud to get the full effect. One more thing, the
word "shoes" in the third line should be credited to Craig Feazel,
though if this song makes a mint, he'll never see a dime, and I never
said anything about it . . .
