What got me into the Beatles: I got into the Beatles because of Paul.  I think it was something like middle school, or sometime around there.  Paul kept telling me how great they were, and I refused to believe him (I was a monkees fan), then I finally listened to a compilation Beatles cassette that I had and realized that I knew almost all of the songs and they were great.

Mr. Adams plays in Beetle, The Light Rock Express, Disco Expressions,  and also writes songs in his spare time.  During the school year he is a middle school history teacher and coach. Mr. Adams and Paul started an original rock band in middle school which developed into The Roof Badgers by the end of high school, releaseing two full-length CDs and playing countless shows.  Longtime friends and co-writers, the duo joined up with Jim Henkel in the original incarnation of Beetle: a three piece with Mr. Adams playing drums.  Over time, Mr. Adams switched to the guitar to make room for another drummer, and so that he could fill in the third part in harmonies.  It was not long before Mr. Adams had taken the lead on several songs and introduced several more to the set-list, becoming the vocal force that he is today.
